All Chairs attend our learning and development program before working with our members. They also receive ongoing educational opportunities from PeersBoard throughout their tenure.

Set criteria for membership
You’ll want a group of peers who have applicable experience and unique perspectives that
can help you make informed decisions. The diversity of insights that come from outside your organization or industry can be particularly helpful. Joining a PeersBoard also requires a healthy dose of personal reflection to determine whether you are well suited for a group experience and whether you will bring value to your group.
Create a safe environment
To have deep conversations about significant intellectual and emotional issues requires an environment that regards confidentiality as sacrosanct, and where you never feel you’re being judged. The more senior your rank, the safer and more confidential the environment you’ll require.
Encourage a moderator or leader
Whether a group is led by a member or a professional facilitator, maximizing the potential of any
group depends on leadership. It’s not just about developing relationships with individual members; it’s about developing a high level of cohesion and a culture of collaboration among group members. The more advanced your peer engagement becomes, the more you’ll need a skilled leader at the helm.

Be accountable
When you are in a team similar to those described in Approaches 3 and 4, group members don’t tell you what you should do. Instead, you tell them what you plan to do. Once you do that, you not only own the solution, but your fellow members will also expect you to do what you say you’ll do. This level of group accountability cannot be overemphasized.

- PeersBoard members set aside one day each month to meet with their peer advisory group and work on their business, not in it. That means they make time to tackle the big-picture plans, as well as the issues that may be holding them back. During the meeting, they help each other vet ideas, troubleshoot strategies and find solutions together.
- Meetings are facilitated by an PeersBoard Chair who uses a proprietary method for keeping the conversations focused and productive.
- At most meetings, a subject matter expert will run a workshop to help members generate new ideas to apply to their businesses.
- PeersBoard members are Entrepreneurs, CEOs, business owners and key executives of small and midsize companies, representing nearly every industry. This diversity is key to furnishing advisory groups of members from non-competing industries (Each PeersBoard community will have common target customer base), and providing members with relevant expertise, regardless of their industry or company size.

Finding a PeersBoard group is as easy as finding a facebook or LinkedIn group in our online platform. Once you complete your registration you can browse Boards and start building connections across the global network.

Once you complete your registration you can browse Boards and start building connections across the global network. Joining Board is not automatic, you have to submit request and Board Chair and leadership team will take decision and allow you to a particular board. In case Chair and leadership doesn’t approve you for a selected Board, you will be given another choice of Boards which best suits you.
The application process includes an interview with the Leadership team and a reference check. This allows our members to know that the new members of their network are in good standing in their profession. Members are also encouraged to have personal meetings with new members so they can get to know each other and better identify the strengths of the members.
Any professional can’t be expected to be an expert in all aspects of their business. PeesBoard provides an opportunity to expertise most of the business aspects by sharing knowledge with the peers. Moreover, you being a subject-matter expert in your field and primary area of focus can help the rest of the peers better learn what you do and how you do.
PeersBoard provides an online Forum for networking similar to Quora, Yahoo Answers, Reddit etc.., wherein you can put your business-related questions and get response from experts of the community.
